Clear Creek: The crew gets a lesson in beaver trapping.

We got into camp today before lunch,and so had plenty of time to do the minimal program that was offered here. Our crew was very worried about having enough time to do conservation work at our scheduled sie, and so we managed to get in an hour and a half of work here by building two bridges for the camp. The campfire tonight was pretty pathetic, but it was performed in front of a fabulous view. We all pretty much ignored the staff, and watched the bright colors of the sunset instead. The next morning, we woke at 5:30 and left camp for the ascent of Mt. Phillips by 7:30.
