It was pretty late, and we were pretty tired by the time we came aroud the last switchback up Shaefer's Peak, but a few of us just couldn't resist the temptation to see the peak of just one more mountain. It was definately worth it, a relatively steep drop off, and a rocky clearing provided us with one of the best views we had seen the entire trek.
