Monday, July 1 - Tuesday, July 2
We finally got to Cyphers Mine camp at around 7:00, and quickly got to the task of setting up camp and making dinner. We were done with dinner by 7:50, but the campfire was at 8:00, and rumor had it that it was a good one. Luckily, two adults volunteered to stick around and clean up. We went to the campfire with our trash, but when we got there, they refused to take it because it wasn't compact enough. The campfire was fun; they ran it inside a cabin, and it got pretty noisy. That night we slept in an Adirondack shack because they didn't want us pitching tents on the sloped ground. The next morning we slept in late (until six) and after breakfast went to take the tour of the mine we had missed the day before. The tour was great, but we left pretty late, and so we were all worried about making it to the next camp in time for program
